Wow... DSLRs haven't come out for that long yet, how you know a D1 cannot last beyond 15 yrs or longer? :dunno:

electronics will die, technology would have advanced so far and prices would have dropped so low, that it is better to buy a new camera than to repair an old camera.

in the end it is up to you, this is just my thinking, just like a computer

but i reckon a larger body of water with a more interesting background and minimal ambient lighting would have a better effect. But then we would OT if we continue in this direction. the 1/500 sync speed as shown above and by ortega has the capability of stopping motion! :thumbsup: SWEE! But shouldn't this be in the Shutter speed adjustment at TTL mode thread? :dunno:
