Ahh.. I see :) thanks so much for all of your sharing! I guess I was having the unrealistic expectation that a 'high iso performance DSLR' = can shoot at 6400 and the image is still clean :P and when i shoot at 1600 i was like, 'hey... Its still quite noisy leh!' Guess my D7000 is working normally then! Thanks again!

For a camera at that price range, I believe it's ISO performance is the best. If you have tried other camera of that price range, you will notice the difference almost instantly :)

i planning to get a D7000, will like to know how is it?

Horizontal swing LCD for me I can't guaranty,
I can be keep becareful of used.
Accidentally can easily to crack on the swing connection of joint.

That why I don't like swing LCD display :)

how come my old Ixus cannot take sharp photo for kids moving

i thought all have face capture mode ?

http://www.dpreview.com/products/panasonic/compacts/panasonic_dmclx3
LX3 have
Maximum aperture F2.0 - F2.8
Minimum shutter speed 60 sec
Maximum shutter speed 1/2000 sec
Aperture priority Yes
Shutter priority Yes

so which one is very important when taking kids photo?

what talking abt F2 mean distance is close?
