so damn happy. i m thinkin of gettin prime lens... 35mm f1.8 or 24/28? i think. sorry not sure abt e 2x numberings LOL.
pbear1973 said:I think the 35mm prime is most useful because it presents a "normal" view, so it's excellent for streets, and the f/1.8 lens has very nice bokeh. It's in fact the lens that I use maybe 85% of the time.
I use my 10-24 for architecture and panoramas and the 18-200 for everything else.
ya. i always been a canon user. i had 50mm too. i find it tight esp indoors. i cant take portrait full body... ~.~ so i wana go 35mm with nikon. but i think there is a 2x right? cant.rmb is it 24/28 for dx... :/
SkimMilk said:crop factor for Nikons is 1.5x. So a 35mm will be 52.5mm equivalent view on an FX camera.
As for which to go, I say 35mm. The 24mm will not be useful if you buy the 24-70mm lens in future.
Depends on which 24mm u are referring to bro![]()
anyone knows where can i get a local and cheapest Nikon D7000 + 1st hand?
Those shown on the price guide section i 1 by 1 call all oos. My friend eager to own 1![]()
somewhere level one outside SLS 1.8k with 18-108 kit lens. but like some bros who said here, it might not be with local warranty. only shop warranty AKA Grey box? :x

The main difference is DOF, and it's very hard to achieve thin DOF at such wide angle.
I think this might be a bit overwhelming for you now. Enjoy your new body with the 18-105mm lens first.

If you take portraits you will also need to get closer, and the wide angle can lead to the person's features being stretched and flattened,
