Would like to ask.. Those who send their cam in for sensor "oil" spot service.. How much does it cost ar? And how long does it take? Mine recently seem to have those spots
and it seems to be quite bad.. quite some number of spots..

I think I had the same problem as you.

They want me to leave my camera with them for 2 weeks but I can't cos I had a wedding to cover. So they just clean the sensor which took 10 mins and suggusted that bring back the camera after I finished the wedding event and it's free.

I see. I just left it with them.. Now waiting for them to call me up to pick up..

Just got my D7000 kit from the IT show at Suntec today. Not a good deal but I need it for an important trip so can't wait for stock to come to the recommended shops.

It's my first DSLR. Was previously using Fujifilm Finepix F11, so it's a huge change. Hope to learn useful stuffs from you guys :)

Hi all, I bought my D7000 in the IT show today too.
Had tried in the BnS for 2nd and went all over Funan but all out of stock. Needed it for this weekend family shot, so 'quick hand quick leg' to get it in IT show.

I must say this cam is awesome!!!

got free dry cabinet? (just asking) haha

I got it @ $2149 .
The bundle r: 20l electrical dry box, Nikon cleaning kit box, 1x 8Gb SD card, card reader, nikon leather strap, cheap Nikon tripod n a small camera bag.

But I managed to exchange some of the items as I alrdy have a dry cabinet, tripod n not fancy with the small camera bag.

So I opt for a Manfrotto, Veloce III Backpack in exchange with the dry box ,tripod n the small cam bag with the supervisor during payment.

IMO, I find it worth for the exchanged...

Bro, did you check the regular Funan camera shop before purchasing your camera?

I've tried asking shops in Funan, ie AP, TK, Harvey Norman, Courts. All out of stock. Some told me that price of the cam is expected to rise as it has higher demand.

Need it by this wkend, cos I juz sold my D90...

So now never think back, juz enjoy shoting with this new toy lor... :-)

I've tried asking AP, TK, Harvey, CP, courts etc... But all said out of stock. It'll probably arrived by end of March. Some said price of the Cam is expected to rise, cos of high demand.

I even called up Nikon Singapore on the stock avail. The sales person said it can only get it fr the IT show.

Sold my D90, so need it by this wkend for family gathering.

Anyway, I've never think back and juz enjoy shooting with this Cam lor :-)

D90 user here, wondering to change into a D7000..... However, all the retails are out of stock.
Has all the D7000 gone to the IT show?

Actually it's thanks to IT Show that there's even stock in Singapore. Before this, none. Mainly coz Nikon Japan HQ kena Japan tsunami and Thailand factory kena Thailand flooding. Plus D7000 is on high demand in the first place

One more thing to add..
During my hunting of D7000 in Funan, I intentionally 'Siam' the Bally Shp as I've heard a lot of unpleasant incidents with them.

But i unintentionally bought fr them!

Bcos when I was making my payment where the Nikon Booth's cashier n collection pt r located, I got a shock to see a Bally Photo sign displayed right behind the cashier!

So Bally Photo is the Authorised dealer for Nikon Singapore? Only Bally photo has stock?? I'm puzzled..

By the way, I've done a thorough check on the Cam n warranty. It is a genuine set. In case some may ask...
