From where and how much? Any ideas?

From Adobe and Medium format camera system | RAW converter | Photo manager (I think). Both cost a lot for casual use. A free alternative is... I don't wanna get suspended =X

LR3 is going for like 150 on amazon... not dirt cheap but reasonable enough. it's at half it's usual price.
Capture One however, is rather costly for 'casual use'.

I use Aperture, which is slightly cheaper but available on Mac platform only. There's also DxO Optics Pro, Bibble, and a couple of others.

but if you publish your photos, IMO it's safer not to use.... free alternatives. :)

PM me too! lol.

Anyway guys, i was wondering where can i buy 3rd party battery for d7000? And how much will it be?

Thanks!

I need to do tethering using a Mac.
For the program aperture, does it have this function?

Can provide more information?
I basically need to do tethering during my shoot.

In Lightroom 3, you just hook up your camera to your computer via USB, wait for the camera to be recognized and LR3 opens up, then click File->Tethered Capture->Start Tethered Capture, and you're all set. :)

LR3 is expensive (US$299) but easily the best workflow tool I've ever used. Since getting it I've never touched PS unless I needed to do something really special, like stacking or some weird effects.

If you need it just for a one-off thing, there's a 30 day evaluation before it stops working. But as Zhijie didn't mention (wink wink) there are ways out of this.

Hey guys, can a Tamron AF 70-210mm F/4-5.6 (model 158 DN) fit on a D7000?

Thanks in advance!

Oh come on you wanna get something that's paid for free. What's the cheapest way to get it? I don't think I have to say what it is. But of course, I think they can track if it's paid or free
