call them to check if they've still got the promotion?

I was not comfortable with the grip when i first tried it (just put on n try holding). But after field testing at Sentosa, I can firmly say that I love a grip! It makes the camera feel better in my hands. But that's my personal feel lah. ;)

So tempted to buy a grip now. :S

You should get one. I used to have my pinky dangling below the body's rubber grip but after I attached the grip it feels so dam good

Hahaha clebber! Cannot la my X-100 is my baby D7000. :D

It's a seriously good companion to the D7K lor. APS-C sensor, analog controls, awesome viewfinder.. but of course focus is much slower than the D7K.

Mirrorless?

Mirrorless?

It is mirrorless, but I wouldn't call it mirrorless just like I wouldn't call a PNS camera "mirrorless" because it hints the interchangeable lens aspect, and the X100 (not "X-100") has a fixed lens...

You're a rightful owner of the used D7000, so you're a rightful member of the club. This isn't official anyway

Po-tay-to, po-tah-to. :)

Awesome camera. Almost my D7000 in my haversack except that it doesn't have inter-changeable lenses. The X-Pro1 will have but I really do not want to invest in another new set of lenses, and the 35mm equiv on my X-100 is good enough for streets, candids and events, which is what I bought it for. :)

Of course!! Unless your D7000 is in reality a styrofoam mock-up, you're very very much part of the D7K club! Welcome aboard, I know you will love it as all of us here do. :)

Thanks guys for the warm welcome :)

CaptureOne or Lightroom tethered capture?

I don't really like Capture One's tethering... probably works better with Phase One cameras.
