lol nice nick, 30 cents(sanmao)? haha. The MB-D11 at $243, google. Nah, i'm not taking events and such, just normal outings that a single batt can last. Can always get another batt when i truly need it.

Hi bro sanmao, care to share how much u got the body? U could PM mi. Thanks!

PM me too thanks.

Anyone knows where to get D7000 in D7000 body-only box? Apparently some are kits with the lens removed...

It's the MB-D11, and yeah the feel is indeed great with the grip on. now it feels naked if i take the grip off. awesome stuff.

For events easily depleted yeah, extra battery definitely helps.

Yea i like the grip man.. I dont even take off the grip now.. Doesnt add alot weight to the camera. Weight balance feels better as the battery is now in the middle when in landscape position.

I think it's widely available but in low quantity. Try the regular shops in funan recommended by the bros on CS.

any one brought BENRO Tripod for their D7000? any review ? steady and frim? or any other recommendation of tripod? looking for one that is around 500mm long and budget around 100 plus to 200. thanks

I have a Benro A350 with pan head for my D7000. Serves me well, a tad heavy prob because of the pan head, but otherwise sturdy. I have been using for night shots quite often.

hi, the pan head you refer is the one come with the tripod? or you buying the pan head separaty? the tripod is stated as 1.04kg, with the pan head , likely what is the weight?

thanks

I have pan head HD1 which weighs around 0.5kg, so around 1.5kg total. Normally, the tripod comes only with ball head, so I exchanged it for a pan head

Hey guys, i noticed a price drop recently. People like Orient and SLR are selling the D7k body alone for about 40 bucks less then just a week ago. Plus i notice Artworkfoto selling the body alone for just 1570 on their website. Any news on a price drop ?

Electronics usually drop in price gradually over time (as long as it's not SRP). Once the craze wave is over, you will start to see prices coming down.
