All used like less than 2 -3 times. How ? Now everything is like a white elephant. I am not rich, earning power is only 2k per month

Hmm i'm surprised it took u that many items to get u knowing u don't like photography. Your items can easily be sold off thru the BnS, you'll only incur a small loss if it's really new..

It's cropped frame after all. Of course night shoot isn't as good as D7000. We always buy a new camera then realise what we were lacking in the older one. When D70 came out everyone was satisfied. When D80 came out, D70 was outcasted. When D90 came out, D80 fell back due to it's limitations (which no one noticed before D90 came). Now D7000 came out, D90 is slowly fading away

Hi d7000 user here, I'm just wondering is there anyway to select the focus point via the top LCD screen?

Looks like I can only select and choose via the main lcd screen and viewfinder...

I dun have a D7000, but I do remember switch AF point via the D-pad does gets update on the top LCD as well. Can any owner confirm this?

Yeah the top LCD change when you switch the AF point.

As many tests have exemplified, the ISO performance of the D7000 is only about a stop or less behind d700 in quality.

At that level it is not too field relevant to be a concern, especially when shooting raw and doing noise reduction.

Hi everyone, just to ask, when using manual focus, is there a way to enable the "beep beep" sound(just like when using autofocus mode) for focus confirmation when the camera is in focus other than to look at confirmation circle at the bottom left of the viewfinder?

^hmm interesting question, but i don't think that is possible.

I'm intending to switch over to Nikon d7k. Looking around currently and found the lowest priced is $1484 from techno gadgets. It's nett price inclusive of gst already. Anyone has exp dealing with them before. I've been told they provide local 12months warranty in the form of reimbursement. Bros care to advise?

reimbursement == grey set, any faults, u go repair, pay, then claim from them.
if you are comfortable, make sure u get a terms and conditions regarding their reimbursement policy (eg, any cap on the amount / number of times claimable, how to go about claiming? --> must tell them first before u fix etc)

QUESTION- If upload from Camera to PC, how to offload pix just from 2nd SD Card or 2nd Slot?

I read but cannot find. Only read can view pix from 2nd Slot by holding 'Bracket' and arrow 'UP' buttons. But during offload, still cannot offload 2nd Slot pix.

Use a card reader? I've not connected my cam to pc before, so can't advice. I always use a reader.

What is the meaning when someone sort of screams "so-and-so, .... fall in !!!" ? sounds kinda rude leh.

Should get d700 ... D7000 is useless as pic quality is not there. Look and see which pro is using this for wedding.

any camera will work for a pro. It doesn't matter which one they use.
What are you trying to proof?

u have a d700 without applying the correct techniques the quality come out oso won't be there. In case u don't know, a lot are using D7000 as a backup camera for their primary work. It serves its work well, don't just condemn DX, it can still deliver.
