some like it darker, some like it brighter..
u can use the exposure compensation to adjust the output to your liking..
cheers...

Hi guys,

i've managed to rent out the D7000. i felt that whenever i put it on Aperture Priority Mode, the pics tend to be overexposed quite a bit when i use my primes, 85mm f1.8 and 50mm f1.8. is this normal?

sometimes if i delete too fast, i also delete some shots that i wanted..

Either u press the Delete button slowly 1 time by 1 time, or be just like me, shoot 1st then go back and delete on the computer.

That's what the 2nd card slot is for. Use 2 SD card on backup mode (or for those who know about harddisk technology, RAID1). If you accidentally delete from one card, you can always retrieve the same picture from the other.

That's what I do these days on my D300s. Very useful.

can anyone update on the latest price here ...
body alone and grip with gst ??

TIA

MS color, body only $1,700 w/GST June 2011

Yeah, please take caution in checking certain key items to ensure you are not buying a grey product. The usual suspects are, photocopied manual or the starting language of the manual is not the dominant language of the country (for s'pore, english.) A power cable that does not fit your country's main power socket and other miscellaneous documents are printed in a foreign language. Normally when you see a shop charging a much lower then normal price and he claims the warranty to be claimable at his shop ONLY. Its probably a grey.

tks guys!!
still waiting for equote .. i guess weekend no mails will be replied

i last week bought the lens kit from ms. 1899

Got mine 2 months ago.

Anyone remember what's the default name of the first photo shot by the camera?

And does D7000 has an equivalent of Canon's auto variable exposure (takes a few shots with different apertures in burst) for HDR photography?

Potential stupid question: I took photos with the RAW +JPEG function, but when I transfer to computer, both the photos appear as JPEG images. Why is it so?

Your computer software don't have 'Raw' support software?

Just bought D7000 body in JB, a lot cheaper than Singapore, about sgd1200++. Local set (Msia), only concern is warranty against malaysia nikon. Go JB and buy if u dont mind.

You're looking for the bracketing mode I guess?

Did you set the card to flow RAW into 1 slot and JPEG into the other?

Yes, how do I go about setting auto variable aperture for bracketting?

And yup, overflow settings on

not too sure about that complicated name, but bracketing button is right below the flash button. hold it down and turn the 2 dials accordingly to choose the number of shots and the difference in exposure. shouldn't you be using different shutter speeds since you're doing HDR?

it shouldn't be overflow then. overflow means once a card has filled up, it'll start to fill the other. set it to flow 1 JPEG and 1 RAW to each card. if it still doesn't works, then there's probably another unknown problem
