Same here. From what I know, D7000 kit is 18-105 lens. If it's the other? Most prob seller is kitting them together.

Might be a bit more expensive but it would be worth the money. Not sure about the batteries now but I got a 3rd party one for my D80 in the past and the holding capability of the battery is really horrible and it discharges very quickly.

Where in jb?great buy ah...very cheap for d7000 body...how much if with lense?

From what I knew that all nikon middle class camera all made in Thailand. If you said yours are local set (Msia), then doubt that is a repair set. I have asked so many shops that d7k cost RM4k at least in jb. Better check with your buddy and return to the shop.

Normally service is about the sensor cleaning cost you est. $30 only.

i agree.. my d60 comes with extra 3rd party batt.. sometime it will just drop from 3bar to 1 bar..

D7000, grip, and 2 new lenses arrived today. Obtained the Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 and 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 AF-S ED-IF VR ($200 rebate when purch with D7000).

Sold D90 to a buddy. It was a good camera, but noisy at high ISOs. Had 17,883 actuations.

Have mid-1990's Nikon 300mm f/4 ED. Am anxious to do a shootout between it and the new zoom at 300mm.
