Amazon US price is 1,199. Convert to SGD is about 1,580 excluding tax and shipping.

Rough esimation of price at SG favourite stores is SGD 1,700 lowest... just a rough optimistic gauge.

Since old D70 days me already think of getting a Nikon DSLR, "tahan" for so many years, D7000 definitely will be my 1st DSLR

jus to arouse more interest and stroke the flames, on amazon JP website, seems like the d7K comes with the 18-105 kit lens and ALSO, another package has it with the 18-200 VRII...

how would the 18-200 perform in in door shots compare to 18-105?

18-105 vs 18-200

the build of the 18200 should be better.
las i checked the 18-105 has a plastic mount, which is prone to breaking...
18200 has a longer focal length, not very sure abt optic quality
