The kopi session for the D7000 is only tentetively and its only to feel the D7000 in your hands, there won't be any retail sets available at the event happening itself.

Bro, can share the source. Well, you know, we have many info, but none has supporting evidence so far. This is to chill down our eager and impatient wait! :cool:

i'm without a camera but with lenses...can you imagine the pain of waiting for this devil7K?? :bsmilie:

sounds good mate! looking forward to checking it out.
 

anyways...

if not for the higher pixel density and supposedly higher(better) iso count, ..there is nothing much more about D7K than, say D300s (which has 51 AF and insignificantly higher fps)

imho, i think just these 2 above will assist in worrying lesser about the need to have too fast a lens in future.. >> means...save money in long run :)

Nikon D7000 Product Launch Registration fully occupied - 20 Oct 2010
NPS Singapore would like to thank you for your interest in the Nikon D7000 Product Launch.
However due to overwhelming response, the registration is fully filled.

Only selected registrants will be receiving an email on 22nd Oct 2010(Friday) with the full details of the event on the 27th Oct 2010.

Selected registrants will need to present their NPS card during the registration.

The invitation is non-transferrable.

We apologised that this is an invite only event and only selected registrants will gain access to the venue.

ah i see...the nikon d7k event is scheduled on 27Oct:thumbsup:
i'm guessing, we'll not see this equipment on local stores until after this official launch date... no matter, a few days more... afterall, waited for some time already :)

The camera will be available for retail on 28 Nov Oct onwards.

And on 29 Oct, we (the 120+) who registered in the kopi session thread will have the kopi session and molest it/them. :)

will they be announcing the RRP when it is launched?

the partial alloy body, the dual SD card are pretty good features...
it would be nice to c how much details the new processor can capture compare to d300s
