D700 & SB 900 - All about D700 & SB900 Pricing - Singapore, HK etc

the Aussie price certainly very good... but only if you are not paying for the two-way flight ticket and the GST tax on the way back...

in Singapore the lowest you can go so far these days is around S$3450-3500... but I suspect it will drop further...

perhaps more so when Nikon makes their special announcement on Nov 20th...

rumoured that there might be a quote "high pixel count pro body in 135 format" (Source)

anyway Nikon UK seems to be giving away free Capture NX2 with a D700!

maybe it might happen here too if you are patient since that is what happened to the D300 sometime back as in Capture NX was shipped with a D300 overseas then later it also happened in Singapore too...

Now..this is good news.

I'm a current Canon user but soon making the jump to a D700.
Should be considering a purchase within the next month or so.

And the icing on the cake? Canon just announced a planned increase in the price for the 5DII... (not that I was interested in one, anyway) :bsmilie:

i changed from Canon to D700 recently...only regret is why I didnt change earlier...enjoy the shooting process with my kakis alot more with the top notch CLS system...:thumbsup:

- rebates la
- free NX2 la

Just abit worried I buy now next day some stunning offer drops. Esp since festive season coming.

Anyway, I'm not in a deadly rush to get it. Plus also waiting for the new 50mm to come out...

Don't worry. Given that the worldwide economy now is so bad and many manufacturers have lots of inventory to clear by year end, the price will definitely drop.
