I paid $1950 with gst for five year warranty and the D70 kit.
Not a great deal but it's finance by my boss.

Ap quote me $1750 with nothing but the kit.

Not a great deal? I think that is a very good deal. Extended warranty costs ard $250 - $300. So you are actually paying for only $1650 - $1700 for yr D70 which is very cheap.

It's a level; deal I think. But I definately have to buy from Harvey norman due to the extended warranty which I think is very nessary. The 5 year warranty is $255. Of course the final price I hagger further to achieve that price.

Did you use the eyepiece diopter slider to adjust and see if the double vision can be corrected ?

Also concerning fiilter, I am using a cheapo tokina filter $18 on my D70.
Filters with poor coatings will give flare and also moire in DC though have not seen it yet in my normal shots.

hmm... i only remember the price of the 77mm one i got for my 12-24, $50. not sure if i got screwed over on that though. :bsmilie:

note that different filter sizes will have different price though.
