no picture will be the same, but when there is less light your camera AF will be affected.

TC20 = 2x, the rest is 1.4 or 1.7x check if its the AFS one, if it is the AFS adapter it can be used on your df40x

the side the metal rim will right Circular Polarizer or CPL, or PL

B&W, Nikon these are the most expensive ones.. Hoya not bad also lah.. depends on how particular you are

B+W 72mm CPL Filter lens @ $80 GooD deal? kindly advise asap. thanks....

good quality.. relevant price.. but its dependent on your budget :)~

Is the picture more Superb than the not so gd brands? Or just the same? :dunno: Is there any diff.?
personally i cant tell the difference between a hoya cpl vs a b&w, neither can i tell the difference between hoya's super hmc UV vs b&w or nikon from pictures actually.

but if you buy an expensive lense of course people would always want the best for it, so buy the best filters etc. but for me, as a personal opinion. the higher end series of the hoyas will be fine for me

B+W Circular Polarizer "MRC" What does "MRC" Means?

Just got back from the Clubsnap Nikon outing. Really humbling experience as the D40's lackings were really exposed in the face of the "Big Guns".....

What major lackings besides the lens bluebull? (I konw there are other lackings but those don't seem to affect me)

I'm curious, as I am seriously thinking of changing my D40 to a D80 (Or rather, buy a D80 and keep my D40 and D2x in reserve), due to the need of a lens with large aperture. Like to hear your opinion.

(For heaven's sake, please don't compare D40 to D2x/s/h big gun okay.. at the most compare to D200)

Everyone laugh at D40 :(
Sheesh. If only Nikon had not removed the AF motor I would have kept the D40 and not think about changing to the D80.
