Haha how did you do it? I had a big auntie-style basket in front of my MTB. Must have been a funny sight when it is paired with the pro-looking cycling gear most of us were in! :D

I brought it along with my mizuno sling bag. When not in use, I keep it inside the bag ;).

Yup, I'm aware. So the promo does not extend beyond the event. Oh well, too bad.

Thanks anyway.:)
I think it was still on for a few days...then it is down. They won't be able to do much anyhow, thanks to a logistical issue even for those who already made orders.

Wah isn't it kinda cumbersome (and heavy) to actually carry a sling bag as u cycle?

Haha trust me....I cycled 40km with my DSLR! :D

salute !
if me i wouldnt wanna dring my cam along..:embrass:

Well my biggest motivation was because my cycling companions could not come at the last min (one had work commitments, the other got into an accident just one week before the event), so I just had to take those photos to share my moments with them! :D

I didn't want to carry any items on my body, so I actually got an auntie-style basket and propped it in front of my otherwise stylish bike!

Actually, I quite fine with it as I used to carry loads of books in a sling bag and cycle to tuition when I am young. :)

that depens ur cycling wat category.. im cycling 40km.. :)

Though I'm in the 20km but I do see alot of pple cycling for the 40km bringing along their dslrs as well ;).

For me I just brought along a small P&S camera which I put inside my saddle pouch. No point bring along a DSLR when I aim to cycle as fast as I can .

Nice article about a man spending Aus 10 000 on the lightest bike:

Looked at his chain ring and cassette. I think he wasted too much time and money on it. Might as well get Dahon MU Ex that has two chain rings with multiple cassettes, only at 8.8 kg and foldable. Speed can match some roadies, around 35 km/hr. Damage is $4,800 retailed price, can buy 2 bikes.:bsmilie:
If he uses V brakes, won't it be lighter than disc brakes ?

There's a pedal in the market that is just a spindle with varying diameters along it. So he may be using this pedal which might looked as though it is not there from this angle. It claimed to be the lightest. Can't remember the brand name. Found it while searhing for foldable pedals. His bike could be single speed type.

Its a 1 week old since last post, school life sux...Bbut still gonna say it. :D

... Not sure about the pedal... But if the speed is 1x1, or 1x2, why don't he buy a BMX rather then this pcs of shyt... Showing it off in the newspaper and internet for 3 days and poof, who cares?

Get a BMX and do stunt that attract girls... and not a very light bike that attracts road-cyclist like us...

Lol. Just speaking out my comment as if i'm telling him... No offend.

Cheers :D

wonder if it can survive drops and downhill sections.

just hate the use of 'de' in these tour races
