CRUMPLER bags

almost close to $200. Got quote $200+ for customary barge.

Anyone using the 7 million bag with a 1D mounted with 24-105 f4l or 24-70 f2.8L, with the lens barrel pointing to borrom of bag iw. with the back of the body facing the top of bag?

looking for a relatively compact bag (that doesn't look like a camera bag) for 1D with the above lens mounted and a 16-35 + flash. will the 5 million bag fit as well?

6 million will provide a sufficient fit without being excessively large, provided you're not going to carry long lenses.

Thanks for the feedback - didn't realise that they have a 6million bag! will check it out - aside from the crumpler shops at paragon and wheelock and TK photo, any other shops selling these bags? was at the paragon shop but they only had ltd color choices for the 7 million bag.....

there's only 3 colors for the 7 million in SG, the black, the red and the olive green..

unfortunately they didn't have the olive color that bi wanted..... is it the same colors for the 6 million bag?

IIRC, TK Foto and John 3:16 sell them cheaper than the crumpler boutique shops.

unless u have apple green card that gives u 10%;p at crumpler shop plus 6 mths warranty on crumpler bag

An alternative would be to consider buying your bags overseas from UK as they have better designs (IMHO) and some are cheaper. NOTE: SOME are cheaper, not all. Crumpler Australia and Crumpler Europe has their own design departments and they are not the same.

Hi. Been thinking about a good bag for me & looking at all the crumpler gurus in this forum thought I should post here!!

My combo:
A) D80 Cam
B) Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 lens
C) Nikon 80-200mm 2.8 ED lens
D) SB800

Currently own the Budgie Smuggler which took in everything quite right for me except that now with my new Nikon 80-200mm 2.8 ED lens, it is way to small for that. Of course it is quite rare that i will have all of the above with me at all times but mostly it will be A+B+C or A+B+D.

Any recommendations guys...!?? Thanks a ton in advance mates.

(oh, am a sworn die hard crumplerian...so no non-crumpler suggestions please!! ) ;p

A 6 million dollar bag should do the trick. You can go TK to try out your gear

After using the bag for quite sometime, I do find it rather cumbersome. I think haversacks are much better.
