Thanks for the reply Calebk & hashbrown. It is the insulation pouch. Will go down to SIGG shop and CP to have a look see.

Just peep into SIGG webby: http://www.sigg.ch/ They may have something.

Sorry but can't guess what is "care-ri-bi-na" any pic?

I can tell you, from personal experience, that it's way better having the sliplock pouch than having a carabiner. It's more secure, and it wont swing around so much. You'll feel better moving around.

Yes you can remove the padding, but not the insert as a whole.

ehhhh when u guys carry ur crumpler... how do u carry the tripod? 2 bags?

not only crumpler bags cannot carry tripod alot of other bags can't too.... so... yeah ppl usually sling it or carry a seperate bag for it... it would be really heavy for 1 shoulder to hold all of the burden....

Crumpler's "The Whickey and Cox" has strappings for a tripod. The paddings, camera and laptop sections are removable. However, the weight penalty is there. With my 15" laptop, Fuji S5Pro, 85mm F1.8, charger and lens hood, the bag already weights more than 8kg. Phew!

Edit-Spelling correction

Whickey & Cox. Not Whiskey, Whickney or anything else. (:

haha... right! Just checked my bag. It should be Whickey.

Is 7 million deep enough hold a 70-200F4 IS together with 400D body?

Might be a little bit of a squeeze. Why not mount another lens and stow the 70-200?
