The selection process is by secret ballot organised by the Council of Elders inside a cave at the stroke of midnight. No one is supposed to understand or is privy to the workings of the Elders, except that your "ba zi", "flying star" and good/bad qi is taken into consideration. Alas, my qi must be bad this year as I am also not one of the Chosen few.

Hope to meet all the Spore delegates at Vietnam. Some of us will be going a couple of days earlier....for the food and rest. Yes, you need all the rest that you can garner because our Vietnamese Organisers will have us waking up from 4.30am to 12 midnight everyday. I think they have assigned some members just to make sure we are awake during those times....hehehe.
