Just curious to ask, anybody thinking of getting Sony E-mount lenses, flash, EVF from Malaysia? the RRP for SEL18200 is RM2399, EVF RM999, seems like the official price there, is already cheaper than Singapore, street price will be cheaper. Not sure whether convert to Tourist Limited Warranty or not.
. Hope other shops won't raise the price just bos short of supply for 5N. Want to get one recently...normanho23

I did not go HN Parkway yesterday. Went to HN Northpoint instead. They can offer the same bundle as per Parkway but you must ask for it or else they will offer you just a slight discount to maximise their profit. Look for Peter.

Not sure about other branches as I only called up HN Northpoint to asked. All I did was to get the operator to transfer my call to the camera dept and speak to the people there. I told them about the offer from HN Parkway and after some calculation, they agreed to give me the same price. Best if you call up the branch nearest to your place and check with them personally. I got a feeling that they will match the offer.

Just go there and tell de person there de other branches offering this particular package and if he can match, u buy straightaway. If not u walk away. Of cos u must say nicely and humbly la.
But pls note if this becomes widespread, end up all branches may be instructed to stop giving this package or any other promo for future models like 65, 77 and 7.

Peter (the head) was off today, but the staff knew of this deal and were capable of offering it.
The deal's really good considering the extra and geninue SonyFW-50 battery and Sony 16GB MS Pro Dual II card. The messenger style original Sony camera bag is really nice, much bigger, better and practical than the earlier sony camera case I got with the A55.
The staff there must be thinking I got a loose nut when I started shaking the camera vigorously to check for the clicking noise :bsmilie:...Sony, SG must have fixed all the new cameras and/or HV got new batches because the 5N just feels solid with no "clicks", "ticks" or noise of any kind !
...now to hunt for the EVF !
