Highly recommend buying from HK. I just got my dual lens kit for less than $1K and got the warranty converted to Singapore when I went there for a holiday.

I just brought from HN last Saturday at parkway parade Black finishing body (Cool color) 5N.
Come with 16 GB card, 2 pieces of filters, screen protector and 1 original battery + sony bag @ $1249. Look for Patrick is good salesman and his services.
I have took some photo on it the color turn out is brilliant out of my expectation and is a good camera to invest. Just nice to replace my 5DMK2 for oversea short trip because of the light weight and the performance.

Wow, seems like a very good deal. De a filters easily $50 and all other shops seem to be giving 8GB only. Maybe I should go back and demand de same from my jurong point branch...

To convert to Singapore warranty, simply drop by at any Sony Style outlet. I went to the one at Causeway Bay, same building as Sogo. There is an entrance facing the main road that takes you to the upper floors of the building (not the lift in Sogo), you need to take the lift up to the 6th floor. Go straight for the Customer Service to get the warranty converted. There is also a Sony Style outlet at Ocean Terminal, but I did not see any Customer Service there. I bought the HVL-F20S flash with the savings to expand on the usability of the camera, this I had to buy direct from the Sony store at list price.

As for the camera itself, just look it up under www.price.com.hk. I got mine from DC Career with cash. The price was actually lower than what was indicated on the website. The shop only had the silver version which was what I wanted. No obvious clicking sound with the camera, maybe I need to test it further. I then tried it with the ECM-SST1 mic and could not hear any clicking sound when I played it back on my laptop.

These are small filters, basic UV ones. They cost about $10 each.

Dun tink got brand new 49mm filters at $10 leh. Anyway $50 for 2pcs of 49mm filter is quite cheap. Dat time I ask is around $30-$40 a pop depend on brand. Later I going cathay I check again.

And make sure you don't look for the nice hoya pro-1 etc. The ones courts give are basically just plain glass.

FYI, Hoya 52mm HMC UV is $10 at MS Color.

So yes, $50 for 2 no-name filters is a RIP-OFF.

If u compare with msc who was selling at 1190 with 8GB then urs is cheap lor since get bigger card yet lower price.
