I reckon Its what iam going to do, if the D24 or D90 or D??(??) is a big enough upgrade will go for it, otehrwise will just save a bit more and get d200, but have to get the 28-105 first, been waiting a while to get that, and also 70-200 (but no money!) :think:

Ah well, whatever! Go Nikon! D?????!!!

Exactly...I will be worry if Nikon stands still and loses out market share to other maker....the faster they develop new thing.....that mean Nikonian will enjoy something better or cheaper at the point of purchase.......however there is something that does not change much is the price of the trinity lens :sweat:

I live in London and was invited to take part in a market research session on behalf of Nikon a month or so ago. They were gearing up for the launch of a 10.2MP DSLR which I took to be a direct retaliation against Sony’s forthcoming Alpha A100… Looked a lot like the D70 from the pic I saw. I think the name of the product we looked at potential ads for was the D07(!) I presumed this to be a placeholder name but it sounds like it might be this mystery product. Oddly enough, they seemed to be targeting more of an amateur/semi-pro audience with the ads I saw. Bigging up the quick-fire “moment capturing” capability of the camera and ability to take action shots quickly and easily. I’m kicking myself now that I didn’t pay more attention!
