Cotton Carrier Camera System

yup.is really funny to wear that and walk on the street.even in a wedding i would have thought the photo guy is some special agent

Instead of thinking of appearance, why not think practicality? Maybe that'll allay any fears of odd-looks. Muahaha!

If I wear a black tee or cover up with a thin vest, I'm sure I won't look that goofy.

Now, if I'm wearing school uniform, with a CC and a think tank steroid speed belt loaded with 3 pouches and a water bottle, THAT will make me look goofy.

But heck, even if I look goofy, at least I will look goofy comfortably.

The final Carrier has been reserved for impresza.

At the moment, all five Carriers have been spoken for, barring anyone pulling out prior to delivery.

Thanks!

Not sure when the Carrier will be in but if you need me to deposit some cash in order to secure mine, please let me know. I can't be sure when I may need to travel again and likely in early Sept to mid Sept for probably 2 weeks. I will pay the remaining upon my return. :)

Thanks, Old Boy, but that won't be necessary. I hope that stuff will be here by next week.

I'll keep all informed.

Thanks!

Cotton Carrier Camera Systems

Hahaha that was fast. Open only for one week.

Two spots of good news for the three gents who reserved the Cotton Camera Carrier System from me:

1) They arrived this evening while I was at dinner; and

2) No GST!

I'll call my credit card company tomorrow to get a final Sing$ figure from them for this order and divide that by five. I'll try to get them to fax the relevant figure to me but my bill should arrive end of this month or early next month.

Old Boy, Headshotzx and impresza will be contacted once I have the figure.

Again, it's US$139 per Carrier. Shipping was US$105.98 in total. Rounding to the nearest 10¢, that's US$21.20 per Carrier for shipping. Total is US$160.20. Figuring an exchange rate of about S$1.45 to US$1 (the bank may charge more), that should come to approximately S$232.30 (rounded to nearest 10¢).

Thanks again for the interest!

Good to hear  Can't wait to use mine.

Two Carriers collected. Third delivery on Monday.

Thanks, Old Boy and impresza. Hope you enjoy the Carriers!

PM or SMS me if there are any defects and I'll try to sort those out with CCCS.

Thanks Mauler ! Everything is fine, appreciate your effort and time !:)

Happy to be of service!

Thanks bro Mauler for bringing in the Cotton Carrier!
Received it yesterday and the item is in perfect condition.

It comes with a nice black mesh bag to hold the individually items (main chest carrier, removable holster holder, two camera inserts and a set of instructions). Tried it out and the camera holds onto the chest carrier and the holster firmly and securely.

However as I do not know how often I would use it outside, if there is anyone who likes to get the cotton system, please drop me a PM. There would be no markup in price, so anyone who is keen, please contact me.
Thanks!

How long is the back part of the system? The one that is on your back when you put it on. I'm asking because I would like to get some thin pouch from goldenmount complex for a camelbak water bladder + tube dispenser (put through the D rings on the front) and need the measurements.

Awaiting my CC from mauler (:

The vertical length is about 32cm.

The back flap is very thin, about the thickness of a t-shirt, maybe? It's thickest at the top because of the shoulder straps which velcro onto the back flap.

Well it's not the thickness I'm concerned about. Since I plan on putting a bladder there, I need to find a pouch and a attachment system that can go around 32cm of mesh...

Alright, got my CC a few hours ago from Mauler. Thanks for delivering it to me!

I was a bit skeptical at first because I tested it out in school for about half an hour and everything seemed to jam or was really difficult to take out, jerking at least 3-4 times before the camera could be dismounted.

I read the info sheet and they recommended putting a little bit of vaseline. I came home, applied lots of vaseline, cleaned it up, and tried it on. After about 15mins of working it in, I think it performs very well.

Bending down isn't a problem anymore. I put the camera on (400D gripped + 17-40L) and walked around my house doing normal stuff for about 10min and I didn't feel the strain or feel like it was cumbersome. I poured cereal & milk, opened windows, turned on lights, bent down to pick up some rubbish, and the camera never got in the way.

S$230+? Yeah, expensive. I'm certain the cost will be justified sooner or later, but for now, yes, it's friggin steep. Great product, though.

I'll get some pics of me in action next time.

Cheers,
Zexun
