If only at ISO 3200 can be on par with 5D2, can consider..

Btw, some reviewers put in above 50D and on par with 5D2.. Hmmm, shall wait for more through reviews since it'snot been shipped out yet into the market.

Ya, sucks. Haha. I hope by the time i want to buy Tamron has VC for Canon models too. And i hope they add VC for the 70-200mm too. Haha.

It will be released in mid-sept for nikon and perhaps another mth or so for canon release. :think:

at least canon do something very right by increasing the number of AF points!
with current 9 points on FF, it is so hard to get subject in focus if using the rule of 3rd.

Do u really need the VC for 17-50mm range?
I own the non-VC version and I am happy with it.
The only thing that I hope that Tamron to improve is its AF motor.
Seems like it is not improved for the VC version:dunno:

Some are just assist points to the nearest point u chosen. Am I right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Agreed. Having a heck of time with it on my 450D too.

Actually I m quite happy with the increase of AF points and all are cross AF points somemore. If it can be faster than 50D AF speed then it will really be a good selling point for the 7D.
