Thanks Nikon but I am perfectly happy with my 35mm f/2. I like it when my fingers are on the focus ring and I try to auto focus, never fails to give me a shock.

Unlikely to be cheaper in Japan. Last Dec everything was like 25% more ex than SG. With the about 10% drop in Yen value, maybe it is now 15% more ex.

But do report back when you come back.

From what I know, it depends on the lens. Some are more exp in Japan, but some are surprisingly cheaper.

yes,its cheaper. A littler more bokeh but no a FX lens
