Community Service Volunteer Photographer Needed

Hi CS'er

Details are as follows:
This Christmas, HOPE CENTRE (Singapore) and Focus on the Family Singapore bring "THE WORLD OF NARNIA" to Orchard Road from 17-24 December, 12 noon to 9 pm daily, to coincide with Disney's 22-Dec release of the movie, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" - the first of 7 titles in The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S.Lewis. We would like to invite you to volunteer as photograhers to take the event photos / blue screen photos preferably for a 6-hour shift
(Shift 1:11am-5pm or Shift 2: 4-10pm). A token honorarium will be arranged.

Group A: 17-20 Dec 11am - 5pm
Group B: 17-20 Dec 4pm-10pm
Group C: 21-24 Dec 11am - 5pm
Group D: 21-24 Dec 4pm - 10pm

Some form of token honorarium will be arranged. Meals & Refreshment will be provide plus a exclusive volunteer NARNIA T-Shirts to be worn on your shift. Yet to confirm of a small token of SGD$10 per hr.

I am ask by my friend who is a staff from Hope Centre to volunteer in their coming Community Project. They need 2 more (maybe be more, I will update again) currently. Some more informations added here:

1. Your own camera systems are required for this. A DSLR or a Digital camera with DSLR (e.g. Finepix 9500) like camera for fast processing of print for the blue screen shoots for the childrens and people.

2. The Blue/Green back drop shoot is like the special effects movies (e.g. Matrix) one. No sure how they are doing this one (i.e. lightings, indoors all cover up). But heard they are still looking for a reasonable priced setups for charity purpose event, or a sponsor for this one. Anyone got 'Lo Bang' in this kinds of deals to provide? Or if any one knows a DIY way possible to do this with a certain cost can also write in. Heard they got one which quote about 2K per day which is not fissible. Would be appreciated... :D

An ammendment... apologise that a token honorarium of SGD $10 per day is offered and not the per hour basis.

Okie got more updates and informations.

The token of honorarium is confirm offer to volunteers at $15 SGD per day... :D For those still in Secondary School, you can ask for a letter from the organiser to your school to clock in your CIP points.

The volunteering schedule slots
Group A: 17-20 Dec 11am - 5pm
Group B: 17-20 Dec 4pm-10pm
Group C: 21-24 Dec 11am - 5pm
Group D: 21-24 Dec 4pm - 10pm

Photographer need for the scheduled slots:
Group A - 1 photog. (gryphon)
Group B - 3 photog. (empty)
Group C - 2 photog. (empty)
Group D - 5 photog. (jediforce4ever, ...)

The fills up may subject to changes and updates due to the volunteered photographer which would confirm again. On behalves of the organisers... A thank you for being interested...

You would need your own equipments:
1. Digital SLR
2. Mid-range zoom lens or primes for events shoots.
3. Flash unit
4. Tripod

5. Stage/ street performers (actors, musicians, buskers, singers, dancers etc.)
6. Technicians (sound, projection, lighting, blue-screen technology)
7. Professional photographers (blue screen, event)
8. Pre-event volunteers (gifts, deco, set up of stalls, logistics)

Hi, this thread is closed... And very thank you for those PM or eMailed me... And really appreciated and thank those volunteering and supportered this cause. :thumbsup:

The group has been filled. Those volunteered will be contacted by the organiser via their contact or eMails. You are to provide them your T-shirts size, and if you have any enquiry, you can ask them through reply. Those who did not leave any form of their contacts with me, I am sorry to let you know that the volunteering is close. But there may be other openings areas to volunteer.
