Can someone advise where i can have a feel of the GH2....today go katong parisilk, parkway and suntec harvey norman, all no stock! Also went court mega store and toa payoh brand...no luck also... Just want to have a feel on it before making decision to buy it. Thabks.

I was at Parkway Harvey Norman on last Monday Evening, last pc of GH-2 but they did not display. I wonder who was the luck guy. Try TK Foto at Funan.

was at holland v for lunch and saw a GH2 available at parisilk..
didnt ask about the price though.

Just jumped onto the GH2 bandwagon.. and my first comments are : WOW cool !! I get usable shots even at ISO 3200 !!
Got it at $1380 from Cathay. Bought a spare batt from Parisilk @ $107 (w GST). Couldnt find the extra batt anywhere else.. so no choice.. : (

Just to check.. is this on sale at the IT fair? Din check..

May I ask those who bought the battery from MS color which branch? I went to the main branch the lady told me don't have.. and even have also one or two pieces sometime.. price was $140+... funny...

Do you mean on eBay ? Saw many. But all don't report the accurate remaining battery power.

actually to me if dun report accurate remaining battery power is not that important... agar agar use should be ok... anyway its a spare/standby... most important is whether it does any harm to the camera.. because cheong one seems like does not have protection chip...

yep.. I would have tried, but I didnt know the 3rd party batteries were out already.. bought an original at $107.. but at least I'm sure it wont spoil the camera

Hey Agrivar, think most of us are curious to where you managed to get the original at $107? Sounds like a good deal to me. I was quoted $140 though can't remember where now.

how come the battery sounds so expensive in singapore? i keep seeing ppl getting for like USD 50 to 60 -> S$78 with shipping included. Guess its totally absurd when i hear $140!

True... i ebay a lot for small purchases.. the thing is i needed the battery urgently for an event I was shooting.. hence the urgency.. otherwise, i would have ebayed it and saved a few $$.. but please note that if you buy from China/HK sellers, it can take up to 40 days to receive the item. So I try to only buy from US based sellers which i typically get in 10 days.

Shot my first Dancesport competition since I got my GH2... all i can say is that 2 batteries is NOT enough.. ordered one additional from ebay.. update once I get it (prob in 4 weeks cos ebay from HK is SLOW..)
