i dun think it can be used... it is a different battery type

Yeah....I know...that's why I say "if" ... Anyway when you use in cold countries, the batts drain down pretty fast. So you need more than 1 batt to shoot for the whole day.

I have the GH1 with the 14-140mm. Most probably will get the 14-42mm kit version when its more readily available in the market.

True, my GH13 (latest Ptool can counter the firmware patch) is still good.
So I will probably wait and see for the time being since no body only option.
Unless Panny has a exchange program, upgrade 14-42 to a 100-300 for another $200 or so.

Its weird that they offer body only option in Germany. i.e when the box is open you don't see the 14-42mm. Its just the body alone. Hmmm...I wonder why this option is not offered at all since the 1st m4/3 adopters already have some (or many) lenses. Not sure what Panny's marketing department is thinking.
