Don't think there is any cameras in the m4/3 family that can be used as a benchmark to compare the GH2 against, the GH2 is more likely the one that sets the benchmark :bsmilie:

Outside the system, GH2 is probably in the league of 7D, K-7, E-5 and D300s.

Think the videos and photos posted rampantly online does indicate that the camera is really a league on its own.
I guess it will be another 2 yrs before a new GH-X will be born and this time I believe it will be even more awesome. m4/3 is really getting on the roll.

Yeah. Not AF is much faster. I guess this 14-140mm is a keeper though a tad heavy.

Agreed, I find that my usage of this fine len is much lower than the rest even when I had it beside me all the time.
Feels like the 8mm fisheye, you seldom use it but it might just come in handy especially when doing video.
VS014140 is SUPER considering I can sneek it into concerts with my DMW-MS1 mic and go home with a decent quality video.
Too bad, being an idiot I had upgrade my GH-1 firmware before switching the bitrate to 40Mbps.

How you upgrade your GH-1 firmware? Mine always been 1.32. Yours 1.34? 1.34 you can't hack it.
Mine is running on the 40Mbps, it does have less mud but not totally mud free though esp low light situation. Day time video is much better than stock firmware. May try out the 50Mbps one and see if there is significant improvement. But the files is expected to be much larger.

hmm the question now is where to find it.. haha the 2nd kit lens is itself worth around 800+ for 2nd hand.. sob there is not body only option. maybe later drop by MS color see if i can get one..
Just spoken with Panasonic - they say it will arrive in Singapore in the next couple of days and be available in shops sometime next week!
