hmm looks like the only change is to support the new flash. That flash cannot angle one. Doubt I would get it .. not sure if worth flashing the firmware just for that.

Agree...was advised once: if nothing wrong dun flash! Only advantage i can think of is when you if you sell ur 1000D, can blow trumpet say "mine latest firmware" hahaha!

Updated my APAD with a black and white street shot .. let me know what you think. I don't really have a good sense of what works for black and white so it is experimentation time for me.
