im ok with Dhoby Ghaut, intially thought it would be City Hall nearest.

Fatah : Buzz me if you want to have the Sigma (18-200mm) earlier. I'll be shooting with kit lens and my brand new 50mm f1.8.

For info, MS selling the Lowepro FastPack 250 for $89. Seems like a good travelling bag with Notebook compartment.

From memory, I seem to remember reading a review of the EF-S 18-55 being better than the Sigma 18-200 (18-55 range).

bro bro.. huhh.. i'm macro expert?? in what way?? which picture are u referring to bro?

Your macro, Tis ok... I'm refering to your old flower photos lah!. I've checked out your website. In my opinion some pics appear over-contrasted, over-saturated and some over-sharpened. However, your strength is the interesting perspectives you had. Overall good-effort!

thanks for the comments bro mahathir :)

hahaha. indeed they do look oversaturated, especially during the lion dance pictures...

anyway, i want to share what i did.. Its like doing a HDR.. the difference is that, i jack up and down the brightness respectively by using the DPP software, instead of using the bracketing method(e.g +1,0, -1)..

okay la if you don't mind the quality.. not as good as the real HDR method. but save you the hassle of taking three pictures at one go...

but i need to use the photomatix software still tho.

thanks Bro, Mahathir and Fleaz gave me similar info. Just don't know where to start or do with it. So comes sunday, you guys be prepared for some stupid questions from this senile old man.

cakka

wahhhh power la.

Already 8 of us will be ard this 15th..thats not bad. The last time, it was me, mahathir and william yang. This time should be alot of fun. hahah.
Anyway..about EF-S 18-55, Its true..pic quality is better. I've read the review too..on photography magazine just now at times bookstore. haha. I dun think i will sell my kit lens. But for my 75-300 i try to make full use of it. From my opinion...its very helpful on macro shot. But since mahathir say. that rockfreaks is quite handy on his macro shot..i really need his opinions and tips when we get to shoot together dis sunday..haha. Thanks Cakka for bringing the sigma 18-200.. really want to have a taste of it. I also read a review.. comparing a sigma 18-250 dc os & Tammy 18-270. 80% say sigma is better compare to the tammy. So let we make a judgement this sunday. on the sigma 18-200 1st..hahah. If sum one got a tammy or canon 18-200 more better...hehe can compare.

Ok see u guys soon...anyway. Please set the meeting point. and actual time of meeting. orite guyzz,

Cyaaaaaaaa
