comparing a sigma 18-250 dc os & Tammy 18-270. 80% say sigma is better compare to the tammy

it's a great idea to get a 2nd hand one. most are couple months old and should be in reasonably good condition with relatively low shutter count.

The Sigma 18-250 mm DC OS has just been announced by Sigma about a month ago. It will take time before it hits local stores. We can check out at CP after this Sunday's outing. It is a serious contender to Tammy and Canon 18-200mm. The guys at Sigma may have learnt the weaknesses of the Tamron and overcome it.

From what I've read, Sigma focuses faster but image is soft. Tamron is the opposite.

u need to get the url link of ur photo and paste it here, Uploading photo here is not like uploading in flickr or friendster. Where u can upload pic from ur C drive directly to the site. \
1st u must upload to flickr or friendster or multiply etc etc...get the link and paste it here. remember to click on the insert image icon here and it'll prompt u the url box and u paste it there. :bsmilie:
