For that price, you can get 3 of that screen protector from SLR Revo. But the gal sure was not happy to put it on for me though....

MSC also sold me a screen protector for $10! The application wasn't too good and I had to carefully tear it off, remove the dust with scotch tape and reapply. But it is an exact fit and the material feels quite tough.

I second that. Next time get friendly Willy of SLRR to do the pasting. He always provides the good service with a smile. I always look out for him when I drop by there.

macro shot with the 12-50mm:

Already got few 12-50mm popping up at BnS. One is asking for 500. I really wonder who will pay that amount for a kit lens and f6.3 at tele end :dunno:

I also wonder who will pay $1,000+ for a EF 24-105L kit lens which is only f/4 throughout. Not even f/3.5 at the wide end, yikes! Those who pay $750+ for a EFS 15-85 f/3.5-5.6 kit lens must be crazy, too. It's not even weather sealed!

Seriously, there are many people who will find the 12-50mm kit lens useful. The versatile focal length range, weather sealing, electronic zoom and macro mode are all good features. If it doesn't fit your bill, just ignore it and move on. There is no need to make those who voluntarily paid for it appear stupid, or devalue the item for those who are trying to sell it on BnS. The slow kit lens bashing is getting really stale and frankly annoying.

i personally like the 12-50mm quite abit and will be keeping it :) the macro feature is really good for those who doesnt want to spend on the pricey Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm F2.8

So will I. It is a great travel lens! Looks like you've got all the "pricey" good glass in your arsenal. :) I will be getting the Summilux to make up for the lack of speed.

Looks great! Can you share the settings with us? Anyway should I be gawking at the good image quality or the M3? :o

Haha....can see its die casted. How to turn an oval mode wheel?

Thanks for the recommendation. I got a black face pilipino girl. So unhappy to paste and paste until crooked also and have to repaste. We must support those that provide good service and price.
