Yes I will.... Each has its own usage and purpose.. And I will try to not be too 'bias' over one of them kekekekeke..

But in terms of performance what do u think. worth getting the 12 50 just for the weather seal, 24mm and macro?

I am still thinking whether I should sell off my entire canon system after getting the Olympus. Hmmmmm

For me, yes.

No pro shots lor. Basically travel shots, shooting children and shooting events when I am invited for my blog.

hrrmmm.... how is the battery life? if bringing this babe for travelling, is 2nd or 3rd battery a MUST?

Really depends on what your type of usage.. For me, I still will prefer my dslr's AF speed, cross-points accuracy and dynamic range. And I have many primes and fast zoom lens to coupled with it for my concert photography and other uses.. OMD will be my option to use for travel and street... If u not rushing, why not think about whether to sell ur canon system away after you buy the OMD and use it... Since not much diff if u sell it now or later unless you need the money to subsidize the OMD. Cheers!

Might as well get the grip. Can last last longer if u set auto off in 5 sec.

I dun really need to sell to get the money. Just that my CFO at home is complaining that I am spending too much money lol. I bought the first EP1 and sold it barely weeks later cos I was pissed with the AF speed.

I guess I will wait to play with this baby first before deciding how to deal with my current Canon System. So far, I am really happy with my Canon 60D plus my fast zooms. Just that it is too heavy for travel with a kid in tow.

Wooohooo. My OMD EM5 is on the way back to my place. Can't wait to play with it!!

The single kit lens kit appears to be in short supply vs the twin lens kit.

Anyway, the 12-50 lens is weather sealed whereas the twin lens are not.

Only you know best which option suits your needs.

If you don't have a tele and need one, the TLK may be a good idea.

picked up my OMD body (black) last evening from AP SLS. they only got this 1 unit in stock apparently and i had left my name/number with them almost 3.5 weeks back with no deposit. they came through for me. pricing was a fair bit under 1400 net. actually order silver but once it was confirmed that they would not be receiving any silver body, i swapped to the black one.

first impressions
1. about the same size as my previous GF1 but significantly more solid and heavy (due to the metal body)
2. AF noticeably faster than the GF1 and much less low light hunting
3. stupid strap lugs really get in the way of a good solid grip
4. definitely would be good to have the additional battery/vertical grip for a better hand hold, but as i want to keep the profile as small as possible, will probably not bother and go with a leather casing to increase the width for a better handhold

as this is the first time i am using an oly, it is taking a bit of time to work my way around the UI, but most basic functions are essentially very intuitive. and i am glad i changed my mind to take the black. more stealthy.

this weekend is shooting time
