Nice! My ideal street setup! Did you already have the 25/1.4?

I just bought it 2nd hand from a nice gentleman today.
Yup, my ideal setup now. This will be what I use for the streets of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto next week. :)

I should put up the WTB advertisement soon. Does anyone know how much is the 25/1.4 lens new?

Lucky u. U tried the m zuiko 12mm f2. Pretty delicious too. I actually use more than my pan leica due to wider angle. These are the 2lens that I always carry with my m43

Had the 12/2 for a while. Felt it's too wide for street and casual family/kids photos. Sold it and got back the 14/2.5, smaller w/ better FOV (to me anyway), IQ is good enough.

I like the primes. But still waiting for that elusive fast native zoom for m4/3. And of course the silver em-5. Reminds me of the iPhone saga when it took forever before the white models were available, long after the black ones were on the market.

2 more days left to this week... :(

pre-ordered black at SLRR, first batch. but the silver is growing on me..
if anyone who pre-ordered silver wants to swap places (either wants an E-M5 sooner or like me changed his mind about the color), pm me.

Hi,

Can I know is the system selling in Singapore?, though of changing my GX1 to MO-D.

Thanks

I still keep the 25/1.4 and 45/1.8, use the 25 the most.

I think they would do best to make a 35mm prime. I love the IQ, FOV and build of my 35mm 3.5, just that its a little slow both on the light side as well as the focusing side.

i can do composition With 35mm even with my BOTH eyes closed.. Hahaha

Yup, thinking of getting either this lens or the Panasonic 7-14mm.
But with limited funds, I think I'll wait for a bit. Also, my trip will help me develop some habits and preferences, then I can see whether I prefer to use primes or zoom, wide angle or narrow.

Funny.... yesterday when I tested the 25/1.4 there was no rattlesnake.
But today there's some of the sound. It's not that bad, but it's there.

Only difference was that yesterday was in artificial light and today is in bright sunlight. So I guess that affects it.

It doesn't happen always though. I turned the camera off, then turned on again, pointed at the same places and the rattlesnake stopped. Weird!

But the good news is that I finally found out how to turn off the AF lock sound. So now, my camera is truly stealthy. (except when there's the rattlesnake sound of course)

1 thing is that the menu system is quite complicated and has a lot of options. Half the time you don't know what the options are about. Typical Japanese style I guess.....

i guess i have no luck to get a set before my trip to seoul this sat, does anyone knows if stocks arrived in Seoul?

adoi wait until neck long long liao.
