Wow...I went off for a while to build a K'nex model for my son and returned to find this thread growing very fast....
OK, here's my closing statement (since I am a mod)...
1. Issue of members registering clone accounts for the purpose of flaming
Multiple accounts and flaming are both against CS guidelines. Please report to mods or admins via PM or "Report Post" if you feel there are such offences that managed to slip through our attention. In Manfrotto's case, the account has been de-registered and we do not currently plan to disclose the identity of the "parent" account. Hopefully that member is reading this and take this as a warning.
2. Mising threads
As addressed by Edmund, Tuck Loong's thread was not deleted by the mods or admins. It was lost due to a technical glitch on the CS server.
3. DP's style of critique
Not supposed to be the topic of discussion here, but somehow related because he was the target of Manfrotto's attacks. I believe DP is smart enough to understand that the style he has chosen for his delivery of comments will invite more negative reactions than the typical "friendly" style of delivery. The rest of the forum members can love or hate his comments, and are allowed to express their feelings towards his comments. Just remember that everyone is subjected to CS's terms of use.
4. Dispute between DP and student in this thread
Please take it somewhere else. Any chance you 2 can meet up in person for kopi? Just my suggestion. Common, there are so many model shoots and outtings, you must have a chance to take part in the same event right?
