so we should be walking when the lactic acid has built up? Then still can start running after a while ah? or out of the fight already?

that's what I do, walk briskly instead of trying to struggle and run. this will allow your muscle to clear the acid. then start running again (after about 4-5 km of walking :sweat: ). always maintain control over pacing rather than allowing yourself to relax and give up. for me the key to long distant running is mental discipline and knowing what your body can and cannot deliver.
