r u saying they're doing a bad job, or that slides dun go well into 10x15 in general...

half price means... how much?

members of .. color lab? sigh, i'm not one of them. that's the one with a branch at adelphi?

Somehow when I got them to do a couple of 10x15 from my slides, colours are great, but sharpness is not quite there. Same print from RGB has the sharpness I want. Colour is a bit "cooler" than colour lab, but think that's okay. Only thing is RGB charges are like > 50% more than Colour Lab's.

10x15 slide to print from Colour Lab is $7.50 after the 50% discount. 8x12 neg to print @ $3.00. Can't remember the rest of the prices offhand.

Just got back my prints from konota. I'm impressed!

Good quality for the price! I'll definately be getting my flim processed there from now on.

Also, they don't charge handling fees for digitals, so its $0.50/pc and must have a minimum of $3.

sooo... color lab needs membership to get discount.
rgb is expensive.
so which slide to print for 4R, 8R, 8x12 would be worthwhile for non-members?

I got three rolls back from the photofriend, peninsula plaza who specialize in Kodak. They asked for $3 for development, $3 for indexing. $0.25 for #R, $0.35 for $4R if u print upon developing.
And indexing is free is u print upon developing.

The quality is quite ok to me. But I am not sure wether they r professional ones or not coz I am still a newbie.. hehe

In Konota, it looks like there's only one poor Mr Quek(?) at the Frontier, doing all the work. ;p

yeah poor Mr. Quek doing everything alone. But i'm really happy sending my things there! He does a great job and he's always smiling when he sees u and i guess he's enjoying he's work. Konota has a 8.5/10 from me . Only lament from me is they can't do express as they've too many things on hand always.

fren of mine had a bad experience with konota - they told him 4 pm, he went there, was asked to wait 10-15 minutes, turned out to be 30+ minutes, there was a blotch on a photo (that kind that's probably due to some water etc), and u can see coloured lines running i think along the long axis on one side of a few fotos.

i thought poor mr kwek handles only films and digital prints are handled by others. yes, he is very friendly and would volunter to give me 10% discount as i am a regular customer (i need to ask for discount if it is his sister). he is also very patient.

Color lab membership only valid for 1 year? ouch ..

Can someone recommend a place to do slide to print enlargements, at least 8R. Cos it ain't cheap and if some place can offer a nice price, that'll be just great.

So far it's just Colour Lab with 50% off for members .. And RGB is expensive. Any other suggestions?

err then what about discounts on development and printing?

Hi
I find Hotprint cheap as they are charging $0.45/4R and only $3.40 for processing fees. their prints are great esp those digital prints. Got free index prints also. Once you try it, you never want to go other places. It's better than Konata.
