Cats and Birds

I think i like the second one more as the lighting is a little more 3d. I'd pull the exposure a little more and blow the b/g though to properly expose the cats face. If possible clone out that small triangle in the corner too.

Keep up the good shooting :)

Oh thanks for the tips raptor84! The cat was sitting on the pergolas so i got trouble with the exposure. Ok i will try pulling more exposure. Priceless tips and advice!

Your EP2 is best for shooting cats at eye level (suggested by madmartian). I saw your recent cat photos, maybe u can adjust your exposure up a little? Zoom lens as in tele zoom?.
Thanks for the advise :) will try to up the exposure :bsmilie::bsmilie: Yeah, i need a 200mm lens, LOL

Hi,

I'm not really equipped for advance bird shots, but this is what I've mustered with a 70-300mm Sigma DG lens from my backyard. Still saving up for a better telephoto lens, coz boyyy it's pretty hard to stabilize the shots, appreciate any tips. Cheers!

Hi Fitzrie, nice shots, but you should start your own thread for you bird shots, this thread belongs to eselite, he's showcasing his photography.

Not chasing you out rudely, no angry ok? hahaa looking forward to you own thread, peace peace ;);)

Hey rwhitw, thanks. Misunderstood the concept, wish i could delete the posts :p

eselite, so so so sorry. Kinda new to this whole site :)

Good shot on the kf! :) You make the cats hungry :bsmilie:

Composition is good, but I would crop off that part with the flower including the post on the right. Make it a tighter shot, less distracting bg ;)

It's ok lah, do the sorry sorry dance and i'll forgive you, haha just kidding lah! Nice KF shot there! Very clean background, can become my wallpaper too!

Thanks for the valuable tips again bro, i can picture it now. After cropping and cropping, i managed to lose a lot of details in this photo.

Before you squeeze the shutter release the next time, check for distracting bg. Like this one, its a nice shot but the lamp post............:nono:

These two are pretty nice shots. See the dark bg? Get rid of it ;)

#208 is nice! :) But try not to crop off the right paw.
And #210.........................lol....................:bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:
