Long enough lar...

If I shoot with 35mm f1.4, I will normally shoot without grip nor flash... natural light only... works fine for me.

Remember with digital, u need to always shoot a little wider so u can crop later. the crop from sensor and actual printing size is often different, so you need to allow for this. With film, it is always shoot to fill in the frame.

Anyway, different people will have different opinion on what is their prefered Focal length.

For me... 28mm, 35mm, 85mm are the most used lens.

Regards,

Hart

wow.. prime lenses expert ! so Hart, what is your favourite zoom lens at this moment if u had any ?

If you are looking for slim filter, HOYA has the pro1 SHMC series as well. If you intent to use polarizer + fixed-on all the time slim filter on this lens, it will not help at all.

Can't recall if normal height filter is ok for this lens.

what i'm worried now is wheter the slim filter can accept fully the lens cap, cos i had some experiences with the lenscap not being able to fully insert into the filter.

Have used both the B+W slim filter and the HOYA Pro1, no problem. Which one are you using ?
