it's not a full frame lens...

so like the 18-70, 18-200 etc, the image circle is small, can only cover a 1.5 crop sensor area. if you use it on a fullframe or film camera, you will get dark corners

Thats the case, this CZ 16-80 will not be able to use on the SONY's flagship cam then. :complain: why do they want to produce this lens then, but cant use on FF.

got the new 16-35 and 24-70 lenses mah. BBB.

If u are upgrading to the pro camera yes it makes sense... and that is only if u have the cash to splash lar... the APS-C 16-80 CA already cost >$1000.... what do u think the full frame one would cost? ;)

was thinking now that 28-300mm lens probably the best bang for buck...if ff really come out

do not buy that 18-200mm, it is CRAZY SLOW.

yeah it's slow, but it has its uses lah.

when going on a trip it's always damn tough for me to choose between the 18-200 or the 17-35/50/70-210 combo. the superzoom is much lighter and can take good pix if you know what you're doing.

so btw, if this CZ 16-80 cannot be used on FF, can it be used with the 1.3x sensor cam. Not the flagship, i mean.

For FF, both KM 24-85 f3.5-4.5 and KM 24-105 f3.5-4.5 will be a good trade off for compact lens plus IQ. The IQ for both are better than 28-300, only loose out on long range.

Maybe I should hold back on my 24-85 sales and wait till new body is launch then can fetch higher price, as it's no longer available. ;p

Have been trying to figure out on that. Anyone got the 1.3x sensor (APS-H) dimension compare to a FF ?

i see.. how abt indoor shots ? f3.5 ? hmm
