how much u bought it ? does it comes with warranty ?

this is one lens worth to buy if got money to invest... coating and glass is super lasting. I am saving hard to get this wonder lens !

I got it for 1050 SGD. The warranty seems to be international, though knowing Sony SG they may put up a fuss.

Of course I compared. There are a lot of jokers out there who'll say that you can't tell the difference when it's printed out, blah blah.

Well, I'm sure the 28-70 G is a match for the sharpness of the CZ, but I am very happy with the extra range the CZ gives me.

I'm not sure if the difference is visible at 4R or not... did you try? Tell us?

The colour/contrast of zeiss coating and lens design may make a visible difference.

That's exactly what I said. Even printed out to 4R, there's a noticeable difference.

Was curious and read the reviews and comparisons with Tamron 17-50mm. Personally I am not impressed with tis CZ other then the extra focal range. Of course i must admit i haven't really test it myself, only judge base on sample photos posted by reviewers and CSers.

Fr those comparisons, does it show significantly better result to command at least double in price?:think:

the other things that deter him from jumping...we saw a couple of lens mentioned in the capa mag(japanese mag)though we dun understand what is being mentioned that
we saw some alpha-numeric digit as below..

After 90 over posts and I am still waiting for one of you to show some pictures taken with this lens...

But I think I’ll give it a miss. The CZ 24-70 should be one hell of a lens. Perfect for a 1.3 to full frame sensor. ;p
