Haha...yeah...my parents are good. Actually all parents are. They supported my hobby and they thought, that i should have the 3 lens to get me started and going. I bought all the other stuff by myself, just that sometimes, my parents gave me like $50 or something like that to encourage me to buy things on my own. Like my recent tripod purchase was bought by me. Only that my parents gave me $30 to help me out on the ball head, because i couldn't afford a ball head worth more than $70, after the tripod purchase. Haha.

Don't view your parents in a manner that if they don't help you out, doesn't mean they are not good parents. Remember, that they have cared for you since young. That care and love, that no money can buy. Treasure that.

True. Parents are good and they do listen but just don't keep pestering them. I just told my mum twice about getting me a DSLR. Twice in the space of 4 months, and today she present me with the DSLR I craving for.

Sometimes, they just need to save that a little bit more for our expensive hobbies. Well, I got two, the other is bowling. ;p

And not forgetting my huge school fees at a pte us university. :o

Hi everyone, as I just purchase my new 450d not long ago and I am planning to go HK next year. I am planning to get a zoom lens that allows me with a option to zoom further. I am looking at the 55-250mm IS as it is cheaper as i am still new to DSLR camera. Do you guys think that it will be a good buy. Looking from the Buy/sell forum section, the 55-250mm IS seems like a hot fav, sold away damn fast.

haha considering my age, thats expected. my family is not rich...i saved for 1.5 years to get my camera. i started with a 2nd hand film SLR (EOS300) for $250 5 years ago but the developing costs drowned my interest.

The 3 best lens for beginners!

Well, actually I quite make up my mind about the 55-250mm IS. Thinking of getting it in the upcoming IT fair. Hope to get a good deal there.

Ok.. good bye. I got a dry cabinet as a freeies from buying my camera and now still considering where to put this hugh box in my room.:bsmilie: Will like to check with you guys do you clean the mirror inside the cam? Cos I know we can retract the mirror the blow away dust on the sensor, but can the mirror be clean using a clean from the cleaning kit?

Hey guys.

Although I had yet to fire off my 450D alas a test shot at the shop, I'm into landscape and nature photography and sometimes do shooting for events. Wat are the recommended lenses for such shoots?

Cheap and yet good.
