i rarely use the live view. Unless i have to take some stupid bug at some weird angle without a tripod that i can't reach. lol then it kicks in.
Thanks for the encouragement. Will consider a lower F stop but not longer I assumed. Very ex leh lower stop. I committed to SSS within 3 days after I get hold of that lens. Will share then.

Oh, hahakay. Is sony brands of dslrs better than canon? ppl were saying that the a200 is quite good.
no idea, never really handled a sony dslr before.
Not used once. Unless I get a remote which is not part of my BBB.

ppl say mah, is what you need more important. a900 also good, 24mgp, 5 frame per burst, blah blah blah, need or not. lol

Well, thought of getting a wide lens initially for landscape. Some down and upslopes will require that, also if need to capture more landscape instead of skyline, will have to lower tripod all the way down. Remote dont strain my old back mah. Currently, not into "full" landscape.

Not true. The prices at shows are controlled by canon. So unless canon officially releases its 450D body at a price of $800, then it will be $800 at the SITEX show. But i've not seen a made in Japan camera, drop so low a price. Canon hires outside vendors to represent them at the show. During the august COMEX 2008 show, Alan photo was the vendor representing Canon. (Can you believe it? Some how, the show service is better than their "at store" service.)

Haha...ya...i was puzzled. We can confirm, that it was the 400D. But even then $800 is too cheap to believe. I believe, that only this year, did Camera brands make their DSLR cameras so affordable.

It's up to you. But for me, i handled a couple of brands before buying. When i wanted to buy my camera, i didn't have a big budget. So i thought the Sony alpha 350, would be good enough for me. Later, i tried Nikon and Canon. I prefered these 2 over Sony. They picture quality is much better. I'm indebted to my parents for buying me the camera, if not for them, i won't even own a camera. Thank you parents! Haha.Oh, haha
