Was at John 3:16 today. Kinda had some time to take a look at tripods, before i had to go to school. I saw the Fancier Tripod. Is it good? Priced at $145 with the ballhead and bag.

Haven't had time to take a look at benro. Any tripods to recommend for about $180. A full package is desired. Ball head + Tripod + Bag.


Was looking at the benro 500EX, 300EX and the A158. The first two use clip locking systems. The A158 uses twist locking. Which locking is better?


Hope some one can give me good advice. Thanks alot!

wanna buy just buy, if you intend on getting these brands that means you wanna really whack the tripod, stick it in mud sand whatever and not worry that it's a 300+ tripod. Any will do.

Err...they cost way less then 300+ I get the idea, but just asking which would be the better or bang for buck. Thanks anyway.

i remember someone posting a program that does it, other wise just see the no. on the photos taken for a rough estimate.

A 2nd hand, common popular branded tripod (for e.g. Manfrotto). Since your budget is limited and you're obviously not looking at really pro tripods; I suggest you get a good tripod for a discount through 2nd hand. Of course you have to check it.

I bought a Manfrotto 055XPROB for just $150. It was as good as new. I think you can find reasonably priced tripods on the B&S section.
 

i'm not only new to 450, im totally new to dslr. dunno what to google for it also :(

i just bought the fancier tripod for $88 from the online store. looks sturdy n well built, and i'd stick it into the mud anytime.
