have u calculated the cost of the 450D selling outside + the price of the dry cabi, compared to bargain city?

If you are just going to start with Kit lens, the dry cabinet will be under-utilized. In other words, unless you are getting more lens soon, the dry cabinet may not be so critical yet. Ultimately it also depends on your spending power.

hmm....if u minus $118 off for the drycab, it would work out to be ard 1181...maciam no much diff from other store..

go check out a few store first...see how much they quote w/out the drycab.

agree. looks good but not really so good in reality...450D with kit early dec was $1140, now i think closer to $1100

Do check out a few store b4 u make any decision..Also, add in taxi fare if u want to get dat dry cab.... kinda heavy to carry it unless u are driving..

if u are willing to wait, the best option is to email the major shops and ask for a quotation. they usually take a few days to reply and you can take the cheapest price. if i got my 450D kit at $1140 at the beginning of october, you can def get a better deal than me at this time. i also got my dry cabinet (38L akarui) for $150 which came with free cleaning kit and lens pen. took a cab home tho.
