Guys, can u guys help me on which of this place that u guys love to buy cheap and reliable dealers of camera bodys, lenses etc.
for example OP, TK, CP, MS. Coz I don have my favourite place to buy camera accs. Can u guys tell where is places are?

I'm really gg to buy a new lens, which is 50mm f/1.8 II lens. I'm keeping for that.

look under canon's price list or accessories. there is a whole list of reputable shops in singapore.
for me i always go to either OP or TK. however for camera body go to CP, they are the most reliable in my opinion.
the hood for the kit lens is kinda useless. it's not the petal type. rather it's like a extension tube that is kinda shallow, certainly not worth the money. just save the money and go for a better walk ard lens such as 17-55IS or 17-85IS.

LOL...one day when there's no more sun...everyone will wish for the sun...haha...i think sun actually helps in good photography...ambient lighting is always good! But recently, when i went outdoors...the sunlight feels like it's just burning my skin and flesh...

Don't worry bro...girls will come to you when you flash your camera...the other day i was carrying my camera around...all the pretty girls and models were looking at me, hoping to have their picture taken....but i didn't...i took other stuff instead...haha...you can see it in their faces...haha..

the weather was gd, very gd sun. lol, used the 70-200 F4 IS and 17 - 40 F4.
I have yet to upload more pics as i was tired and burnt when i got home, but i did upload a few on my flickr.

Hi guys,
Just bite the bullet and bought the new EFS 18-200 IS from MS Color for my upcoming holiday (this week). The lens is very heavy compared with the kit lens. Maybe cos I am newbie, still not used to it. Haha. Now my wallet alot lighter to balance it. So far, quite happy with it as a walk around lens due to the extended range vs my kit lens.

thanks for the welcome! i definitely will be shooting more. this isnt my first SLR (i have the EOS 300) but i didnt used to shoot much due to the high costs of developing photos. now with a dSLR all the shots are free so yes, i will be shooting more!
seen some of the pics on here and im quite impressed with the standard, so hopefully i'll get to learn from everyone here too!
