This is what I mean in the previous email.
I think that kit lens, 50mm and flash can meet my need now.
I just need another cheap 55-250mm IS lens to meet the range from 18 to 250mm.:)
For the sharpness and constrast, I will try to use the lightroom to improve them.:cool:

the 55 - 250 seems a good buy. hehe. Like that u got 18 - 250 range lo

Yup, thats da problem. But since Hari Raya rite, I get to shoot some good pics, although, most of them aren't that good.

But truely, I try to have some free time to shoot on my own, hmm, maybe you guys can organise a short outing will be my best outing yet.

Hi JPLim

Sorry to ask 2 noob questions. Your kit lens cover 18-55mm, why would you need a 50mm since it is in the range? And alot of users say its a good value for money, why is this so leh?

cause it's considered sharp. and also for the f1.8

I use the 50mm for portrait and low light shoot.
It is an underated lens which delivers sharp photo and nice bokeh.
It is a fast lens which can have F1.8.
The big aperture is very useful when you shoot in low light event.
Kit lens is not that fast for low light event as it has only F3.5 for the biggest aperture.
But kit lens is useful for you to start shooting and the IS works perfectly also.

definitely not a wide angle bro...

why leh? cos firstly 450D cam got 1.6x crop.

meaning watever simi lens we fix it on it's always x by 1.6 lor

For eg: 18mm x 1.6 = 28.8mm

If you want wide angle, u got to buy the 10-20mm (16 - 32mm)

well, unless u cam is full frame lor...

which would be my next cam line up...:bsmilie:

But do remind dat 50mm is a prime lens

meaning wat u see is wat u get

so if u wanna cover more angle

u got to move ard wif it...
 

Yeah, hmmm, but its a little out if I use flash on some of the photos.
