Would like to ask whether there are bronzing issues with this printer?

That is, when u view the print-out at a certain angle to the light, the ink seems to be "floating" on another layer of ink. This is not very attractive and is often a tell-tale sign of an inkjet print as against a photolab print.

If there is no bronzing issue, I would be interested to get this printer. :)

Definitely no bronzing issue with the Pro9000... guarantee with warranty! :bsmilie:

I have not used this printer and I am looking forward to buy one this coming IT show, hopefully they will bundle with the SpinderPro2 just like the last offer.

Regarding bronzing, I think it will happen to all printers printing semi, glossy or extremely glossy when the paper profile is INCORRECT for the printer. I hope Pro9000 has all the paper profiles in their software or can download from Canon printer site.

Canon has got their own Hahnemuehle Fine Art Paper as well... just got one in today and like what I'm printing out... for those who can't get it in Singapore interested in doing a MO?

Ok I know I might sound like a broken record...

I've seen the B&W prints from Pro9000 and I am not really impressed. I still see the color casts (slightly green) which my IP5200 exhibits. I am printing through Photoshop with Canon Photo Paper Pro. Did I miss out anything?

Anyone have had good B&W results from the Pro9000? Thanks!

Eh..Hazmee..wanna buy printer also ah?
I'm also thinking of getting one to print my own B&W stuff.

PC show coming. Dunno got good prices anot.

Sure!
Hopefully our schedules will allow us to. Heh.
I still dunno what printer to get. :p

So any of u guys bought the printer already? Performance good? I will be getting a review unit from Canon in 2 weeks time... can't wait.

Wah seh... how come u got review unit? That's cool... didn't know that Canon had review units avail for consumers! Or are you working for some magazine or press?

We've had very good experience for the Pro9000 from those of us who bought it, but it'll be great to hear from you as well...

I just bought one set of ink for Pro9000, but how come the PhotoMagenta and PhotoCyan, has the side of the box showing up as "For Pixma iP6600D" instead of "For Pixma Pro9000"?

Did the shop gave me the wrong ink? I won't be replacing the ink anytime soon, just that I was at SLS this afternoon so bought it in advance.
