In usa, a trade in program does offer the 5dmk2 for 1600 usd.

For the benefit of many others who keep asking "can use for 7D, 5DMII or 60D or not ha" people, as of 25 Oct 2010, regardless of whether the "trade in" model is a DSLR or not, the highest model that can qualify under PPP is only the 550D Received their email confirmation yesterday. Hope it helps

Just got a reply from Canon on 29 Oct 2010 :

"The EOS 60D is still not in our Privilege Purchase Programme."



I urge those interested in 60D under this priv program to write in to Canon.

Hopefully Canon will eventually add it in seeing a lot of interests ?

Worth a try.

i suspect Canon may add 60D later on when it is nearer the end of its product life cycle.
